Playing for the Seattle Saracens
The Seattle Saracens Rugby Club, the premier amateur rugby club in the US Pacific North West, welcomes all players from novice to elite and offers a safe, open and friendly environment in which to play rugby.
We currently run two senior men’s and women’s sides each week and cater for all levels of rugby, from those wanting to play socially to those looking to develop their game further and compete at the very highest international level. We regularly have men and women players selected to represent their countries at the very top level.
In 2017 we launched a Development XV. The new development program and team is directed towards young players and will act as a transition from youth rugby to senior rugby. The program will not only develop players to play for the Seattle Saracens club but also for other Pacific Northwest based clubs that the Seattle Saracens is partnered with.
Whether you are an experienced player or a talented, motivated and ambitious young player, and feel you have what it takes to become a member of our 1st XV of the future, we would like to hear from you!
We are committed to quality coaching at all levels and have a team of dedicated and experienced coaches, who will help you progress your game in a player-focused performance environment, targeting individual player development. All our teams are supported by coaches, a manager and fully qualified medical staff.
All new players are welcome!
If you are interested in playing for the club, please email Player Recruiting, or turn up at 6.45pm on a training night.
Player Membership dues are $400 per year and include:
Full playing kit on game day

If you are considering moving clubs or are new to Seattle, whatever your level, Seattle Saracens has the rugby for you. Seattle is the largest city in both the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest region of North America, and one of the fastest-growing major cities in the United States.
It is no surprise that for over 50 years Seattle Rugby Club has attracted many overseas players to the club, including players from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Samoa and Fiji; although the traffic is not all one way with numerous US club players having gone on to play outside of the US too with professional clubs.
To help our overseas players settle into the local area, the club uses our network of local contacts and businesses to assist in finding employment and accommodation. Although we cant make any guarantees, we are happy to provide this support to any potential 1st XV/Elite player moving to the Seattle area.
Interested overseas players are requested to ensure that they have the appropriate visas, work permits or other immigration documentation required. For more information contact the club.
