The Seattle women hosted Westshore RFC this Saturday at Pat Ryan Field in Tukwila.  Westshore jumped out to a quick lead scoring four uncovered tries in the first half.  Seattle answered with a long-range try from wing, and captain, Erica Legaspi.

Within striking distance in the 2nd half, Seattle was unable to hold off the Westshore attack.  Despite scoring three tries, including one from newcomer, Natalie Macknight, who was playing her first XV's match in a Sarries uniform, Seattle was unable to complete the comeback.

Even though the score was not in their favor, the team was positive about their performance and is looking forward to a rematch in BC in three weeks time.

Tries:  Erica Legaspi, Kendra Young, Jennine Duncan, Natalie Macknight

Conversions:  Val Bank (2), Carly Mackinnon (2)
