At half-time at our game against the Seattle Seawolves on January 17th, 2019 we were delighted to be able to present our partner club, the Seattle Slam with a check for $1,000. This was made possible through the generosity of the Seattle Seawolves who generously donated proceeds from the pre-season match to the club.
About the Seattle Slam
The Seattle Saracens are proud to support and partner with the Seattle Slam. As one of the only recognized full-contact wheelchair sports by the International Paralympic Committee, the Seattle Slam Wheelchair Rugby Association is the only one of its kind in Washington state.
We offer a rare opportunity for our members to play an intense and exciting sport, develop friendships, and bond through competition all the while benefiting emotionally and physically from a structured athletics program.
The Seattle Slam Wheelchair Rugby Association was founded as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit in 2007. Since that time, it has played a major role in improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis from spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities by providing them with a structured team based athletics program.
