I started playing rugby as a prop during my senior year of college (2010) and continued onto the Wisconsin Women's Rugby Football Team (WWRFC) for the next three years where I learned to lock. I left that wonderful team to attend graduate school in Seattle, came to a Seattle Saracens practice my first week in town, and have been here ever since! I remember the general sense of feeling extremely welcomed into rugby as a newbie who had never played a team sport or anything that involved catching/throwing a ball. I appreciate the investment others have put into helping me get better and achieve my goals throughout my entire rugby career. Winning D1 nationals in 2015 was a rugby highlight! Plus, the next day I got to watch my old team win the D2 championship.
